DESCRIPTION

This Samsung top mount refrigerator helps keep food fresh and organized with All-Around Cooling, which cools each compartment evenly from corner to corner. AI Energy Mode works with the SmartThings app to monitor and optimize energy use based on your household's habits. The Gallon Guard door bin and height-adjustable shelves make room for tall bottles and bulky containers, while a large-capacity Veg Box keeps fruits and vegetables close at hand. The freezer is Auto Ice Maker Ready, so an optional ice maker can be added later without giving up freezer storage space in the meantime.

FEATURES

Features

ENERGY SAVING - AI ENERGY MODE

Monitor your energy consumption with AI Energy mode in SmartThings Energy. If your estimated monthly electricity bill exceeds your preset target, it gives you an option to save energy. It optimizes the compressor speed and defrost cycle, based on your usage pattern and surroundings.

COOLS FROM CORNER TO CORNER - ALL-AROUND COOLING

Make sure that your food is properly cooled. All-Around Cooling cools each compartment evenly from corner to corner. It continually checks the fridge temperature and circulates cool air. With the help of the fans and sensor in the freezer, temperatures in the freezer will also adjust to keep food frozen.

CLEAN LINES, STYLISH LOOK - MODERN DESIGN

Give your home a stylishly integrated appearance. The modern design features minimalist flat doors with recessed handles that give a sleek and neat look to your kitchen, easily blending in with existing appliances and cabinetry.

WI-FI EMBEDDED.

Monitor and manage the refrigerator’s performance from your smartphone using its embedded Wi-Fi and the SmartThings App*. You can control the Rapid Cooling modes, change the temperature and get alerts if the door is left open. You can also monitor its energy consumption and diagnose any issues.

SMARTTHINGS FOOD

Manage, prepare and buy food effectively. SmartThings Food lets you create a list of the food in your refrigerator and manage expiry dates, so you can check what you have anytime, anywhere. It also recommends personalized recipes based on your preferences and existing ingredients.

SMARTTHINGS ENERGY

Manage your energy usage, save energy, and track your carbon footprint. SmartThings Energy provides energy efficiency tips. It also monitors the energy consumption of appliances in real-time and compares it to the previous month. And it alerts you if your monthly targets might be exceeded.

SMARTTHINGS HOME CARE

Take care of your refrigerator more easily. SmartThings Home Care provides real-time monitoring and alerts. You can check on its status, including the condition of the water filter. It also automatically notifies you if parts need replacing or problems are detected, and suggests a solution.

SMARTTHINGS HOME ROUTINES

Now your home can keep up with your busy schedule. SmartThings lets you automate your home so it can help you accomplish your daily tasks.

AUTO ICE MAKER READY

Enjoy much more flexibility with an optional Auto Ice Maker. When it is not fitted, you can utilize all of the freezer compartment's storage capacity. Or it can be quickly and easily installed whenever you need to make and store plenty of ice, without having to remember to fill up the ice tray.

GALLON GUARD & HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE SHELF

Make good use of your storage space and quickly reach your favorite food and drinks. The Height Adjustable Shelves can be adjusted to fit tall bottles and the Gallon Guard shelf in the door can store bulky cartons of milk and fruit juice.

REVERSIBLE DOOR

Choose the ideal direction that your fridge opens to match your kitchen layout with a Reversible Door. The door can be reversed simply by changing the hinges.

GENTLE LIGHTING

Avoid straining your eyes by the glare of the internal fridge light. Gentle Lighting on the SmartThings App lets you set the brightness of the fridge's internal lighting. Using Dimming mode will turn the light on gradually, while the automatic Night Shift mode will adjust the brightness based on surrounding light levels.

INTERNAL DISPLAY

Use the refrigerator with ease and confidence if you are physically disabled or your movement is otherwise restricted. Controls are all within arm's reach and can be used with one hand. The Internal Display is compliant with the standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

GARAGE READY

Preserve food in the optimal conditions. The fridge is 'garage ready' with All-Around Cooling, as the fridge and freezer have independent temperature sensors and fans. As a result, the fridge will adjust its performance to cool efficiently in a wide range of external temperatures, from 3°C to 43°C. Applicable to insulated garage only.

POWER COOL / POWER FREEZE

Enjoy a rapid cooling performance. At the touch of a button, Power Cool blows cold air into the fridge to quickly cool your groceries or favorite drinks. Power Freeze delivers a fast blast of cold air into the freezer. It is great for freezing or firming up frozen food and making ice.

VEG BOX

Stop struggling to find space for the things you use every day. The Veg Box is a big capacity crisper that provides a convenient space to store a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit. It makes it easy to find everything you eat regularly. They are all in one place, without taking up kitchen space.

UPGRADED HIGH-EFFICIENCY COMPRESSOR

Keep food consistently cool and save energy. The high-efficiency Digital Inverter Compressor's improved structure means its inertia is 1.14x higher than existing compressors, so it uses less energy, especially when maintaining a constant temperature. The compressor has a 10 year warranty (limited to the compressor).

ENERGY STAR® CERTIFIED

Save energy but still cool your food effectively. Under the new ENERGY STAR® 7.0 energy labelling, the refrigerator is rated 'Most Efficient' for its cutting-edge energy efficiency. It has been independently evaluated and proven to be energy efficient without impacting on its performance.

CLEAN BACK

Clean the back of your refrigerator easily. The Clean Back is a completely smooth safety cover over the fridge's coils and cables. It looks neat and is easy to wipe clean. It stops dirt from collecting around components, protects them from knocks and is non-combustible.
