Few furniture stores have a past as rich as City Furniture. Starting as the dream of Ray Kandola in 1976, City Furniture opened its first store in Prince George. Since those humble beginnings, City Furniture has expanded to 20 stores in mid-sized cities throughout British Columbia and Alberta.

Each location is locally owned. We value knowing our communities and our customers’ by name. We run our operations with a family focused approach and because of this we are respected as the go to location for furniture, electronics, mattresses, appliances, and home accessories.

For close to 40 years and for many years to come, City Furniture products have helped to turn houses into homes. Each store includes an ever expanding showroom, where we display the most current styles and trend. Our selection of dining, bedroom, and living room furniture is exceptional. Lastly, we offer accent pieces that range from unique lighting designs, area rugs to sculptures and paintings in metal, glass and mixed media.

City Furniture MATTRESS COMFORT GUARANTEE for restful sleep.

At City Furniture we recognize the importance of restful sleep. To help you accomplish this we recommend you take at least one month as an adjustment period for your body to get used to the comfort and support of your new sleep set.

With our store, customer satisfaction is always the most important objective. We realize that a mattress is the most frequently used piece of furniture in your home, and that the average life of a mattress should be 10 to 15 years.  For this reason, we want to provide you with the peace of mind that you will always be satisfied with your choice in a new mattress set. A clause exists with most mattress manufacturers that their mattress warranty is null and void if the mattress is in an unsanitary condition. Our store offers you a 60 days guarantee, if the following conditions are met:

  • The purchase of a mattress set must be accompanied by a mattress pad of the same size as the mattress.

  • The consumer must use the mattress pad at all times to protect their new mattress.

  • The consumer must keep their new mattress set for a minimum period of 14 days, which is the normal adjustment period for sleeping on a new mattress.

  • This guarantee is for a maximum of 60 days and allows the consumer to exchange their mattress set for a model of equivalent dollar value or greater value with payment of the dollar difference and applicable taxes.

  • In the case of an exchange, the consumer must return the mattress set in its original packaging and in good condition without damage. If the mattress is soiled or damaged, the Comfort Guarantee is automatically void.

  • This guarantee ensures you are making the best possible choice and assures you years of comfort.
